This place is must visit while in Atlanta. I had the sweet potato pancakes and they were delicious. If you don't like sweet sugar then tell them to leave off the brown sugar but I liked it. The food is on the pricey side so you have to be mindful of that. But the ambiance and service was good. Make sure you have your entire party present or you won't be seated. I'll be back again the next time I am in town.

The server was great. Very pleasant. I was part of a group of 5 celebrating a birthday today. It was a Monday so not super crowded @2 which was good. And the atmosphere was real cool and clean. Nice aesthetics. Nice vibes. We ordered the Soul Rolls...OMG 10/10 Please do get them. They are really great. Two people from my group got the BBQ Salmon and Shrimp over grits. I didn't taste it but was told it was really good by one and the other said the BBQ was throwing her off, but still good. 8/10 The birthday girl had the lamb and grits. She smashed it...and she's a picky eater so I assume it was 10/10. I had the chicken and waffles and it was seasoned perfectly. And the waffles.....(let me get myself together..............) AMAZING. I love the syrup they put on it. 10/10 I did add a side of potatoes to my order which were ok. Maybe 7/10. We also had a few drinks which were good. You can taste/feel your liquor in it, unlike some places that put too much juice. You can valet your car for like $5 so that cool. They don't let you modify ANYTHING on the menu so don't ask or be sure you're ok with whatever it says it comes with. And unfortunately they don't allow any outside food so we couldn't bring in a cake but I still would come back or recommend this place.

The service can definitely use improvements. However, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice! Refills are not free

I'm here once a quarter and I haven't met a dish I haven't liked here. Literally try whatever! The service is quick and everyone is nice. I look forward to the creamy grits and soul food egg rolls

I have been waiting so long to try this place and my girlfriends and I finally went and it definitely lived up to the hype!! The outside floral display is so cute!! You can definitely expect a wait so come as early as possible to put your name down on the list and have your whole party together and ready. Inside, they'll put your name on a Yelp waitlist and text you when your table is ready. Once our table was ready, we were let in by the doorman and the whole inside experience is so luxurious!! We loved the decor and vibes and our server was super sweet with taking care of us. We got a few mimosas to start (I actually had a peach bellini which was so yummy and packed a punch). Our table got the soul rolls to start since Yelp loves them, and they were a GREAT starter. They were like Thanksgiving in a bite and just a great mix of flavors. I ordered the Yard Bird which was 3 fried chicken wings + pecan sage waffles with berries & bourbon syrup on top. WOW. This might have been some of the best fried chicken I've had and I was licking those bones CLEAN. The pecan sage waffles too were such an interesting flavor. I'd never had a savory waffle like this and it was actually such a great complement to the syrup and not overly sweet which I really loved. The berries were fresh as well and the whole experience just felt really elevated. Overall, this was such a cute brunch spot and I can't wait to return!!

We got to Breakfast at Barney's as a third choice after a couple of other places were too packed, but I think ask me now and I would put it as my first choice! The food here is Really. Really. Good! All of it is probably not good for me according to my doctor and cholestrol, but taste-wise? Chef's Kiss! We got to Soul Roll (really good), Queen City Shrimp and Grits (I loved these and could not have asked for more) and wife got Salmon Croquettes (she liked it a lot). Quantity is heavy so make sure you are hungry! Our server (forgot her name urghhh) was really helpful in helping us navigate the entire menu!

Literally SO PUMPED I FINALLY got to go here!! It has been hyped and for good reason!!!! You come after 10:30 AM be prepared to wait. We waited about 30ish minutes and you do have to wait outside so be prepared for that as well BUT ITS SO WORTH IT!!! Once seated our waitress so nice!!! She gave us an intro and got our water and silverware quickly as well as our orders. We got the soul rolls as a starter to share and these are a great app!!! Such an amazing mix of flavor. For the main, I had plain black coffee to drink (which came so nicely plated with a side cream!!) and the breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was huge and delicious. Sometimes eggs on sandwiches can me be mid but these were cooked so well We all walked away with such high praise and it such a cute vibe in the restaurant!! Excellent brunch

I highly recommend Breakfast at Barney's! I went on a Saturday morning for brunch and it was to die for! We arrived at 11am and had a wait time of around 20 minutes for a table of 4. It was really busy but they were able to accommodate us quickly. The table got: - emperor's breakfast - barney's french toast - soul rolls (appetizer) - queen city shrimp & grits - savannah fish & grits My personal dish was the Queen City shrimp and grits, and I can confidently say they were the best I've ever had! The grits were SO creamy and perfect. The shrimp was perfectly cooked too. The soul rolls were more sweet than savory but still a great bite. The catfish & grits were soo good & cooked to perfection. All meals were the perfect portion and worth the price. The ambiance is great, and it seems like a good spot for brunch with friends. Our server was so sweet and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. She had great recommendations of the menu but also of other local spots since we were out of town.
